PHOENIX (AP) – She has been dubbed the “trailer park Mata Hari,” an attractive ex-stripper recruited by the feds to befriend identical twin brothers accused of a white-supremacist bombing and to get them to admit to the crime.
She moved into the same Oklahoma campground, dressed provocatively, used racial slurs and talked like a separatist.
And she won the brothers’ confidence over a five-year period in part by sending them racy photos of herself, including a shot from behind of her in a Confederate-flag bikini bottom.
As the trial of the 61-year-old brothers winds down in federal court, defense attorneys are arguing that the government’s conduct was outrageous and that the informant’s actions amounted to sexual entrapment.

The body of Norfolk, Va., resident David Pauley, 51, was found on the Noble County property, owned by a coal company and often leased to hunters. Authorities say Pauley was killed Oct. 23.
Timothy Kern, 47, of Massillon, was found Nov. 29 in a shallow grave near an Akron-area shopping mall. He had been shot in the head.
The complaint against the teen says he participated in the crimes with Richard Beasley, a 52-year-old Akron resident said to have acted as his mentor.
Beasley was a Texas parolee who returned to Ohio in 2004 after serving time on a burglary conviction. He was awaiting trial on prostitution and drug charges when authorities took him into custody, and police have said a halfway house he ran in Akron was a front for prostitution.

BANGKOK (AP) – The three Iranian men detained for allegedly plotting bomb attacks in Bangkok on Israeli diplomats had more than terror on their minds in Thailand. Police said Friday that they had also cavorted with prostitutes at a beach resort.
The news comes as Thai authorities announced they were searching for two more suspects in the botched bomb plot, including a possible explosives specialist who may have been training the Iranians.

In a GOP win, the bill would phase down the current maximum 99 weeks of jobless coverage to 73 weeks in the hardest-hit states by autumn, though in most states, people would get no more than 63 weeks.
Besides increasing new federal workers’ pension contributions, more savings were supposed to come from government sales of parts of the broadcast spectrum to wireless companies. The spectrum auction was supposed to raise about $15 billion – even after $7 billion would be spent for a new communications network for emergency workers.
The government’s main welfare program would be continued through this year. Republicans won a provision barring welfare recipients from using their electronic cards to withdraw cash from teller machines in liquor stores, strip clubs and casinos.

According to court documents, Calvin L. Winbush, of Cleveland Heights, drove a 15-year-old girl and two other women from Ohio to Richmond at the end of 2011.
Police said Winbush, also known as “Good Game,” was busted on Jan. 3 for interstate prostitution and for pandering at a Glen Allen hotel.
Additionally, 30-year-old Sonora Armstrong and 33-year-old Sabrina Holloway were arrested.
However, now the self-proclaimed international player, professional host, actor and radio personality is trying to use his Facebook page to make money, according to federal officials.

The gritty Port Richmond waterfront – home to tank farms, wharves and many vacant lots – seems an unlikely location for one of city government’s most valuable assets.
But the Philadelphia Gas Works’ Richmond processing plant, beside a sewage treatment plant and a strip club, is the crown jewel of the city-owned utility, whose future is the subject of a study to be released this week on the feasibility of selling PGW.
The 40-year-old processing plant – itself an ugly duckling of concrete, gravel, and steel – produces liquefied natural gas (LNG), which is stored in two 120-foot-high white-domed tanks on Delaware Avenue. On the coldest winter days, when transcontinental pipelines cannot deliver enough natural gas to meet the city’s needs, PGW draws upon the stored LNG fuel to keep its customers warm. The city owns the biggest LNG plant in the East.
